ETS NORD acquires Seroco brand and enters the cooling solutions market

ETS NORD is expanding its product portfolio and entering the cooling solutions market. As part of this important step, the company has signed an agreement with Seroco Estonia OÜ to acquire Seroco’s fan coil business, including the design, sales, and servicing of fan coil units and related accessories. To ensure continuity of customer support, Kari Pitkänen, one of SEROCO’s owners, has also joined ETS NORD AS.

As a result of the transaction, fan coils have been added to ETS NORD’s product range. These units allow room-by-room temperature control and provide both cooling and heating as required. Fan coils are widely used in hotels, hospitals, office buildings, and modern residential developments, and their addition enables ETS NORD to offer customers more comprehensive indoor climate solutions.

According to ETS NORD’s management, the acquisition is an important milestone in the company’s development and will strengthen its position in both the Estonian and Finnish markets.

“This is an important strategic step for ETS NORD, enabling us to significantly expand our product portfolio and establish a strong presence in the growing cooling solutions market. We see increasing demand for energy-efficient solutions that provide room-specific cooling and heating, both in Estonia and across our export markets,” commented Urmas Hiie, CEO of ETS NORD.

“This year, we will focus on developing the new product portfolio, but by 2027 we expect this business area to generate more than €3 million in sales,” added Hiie.

Seroco Estonia OÜ specializes in indoor climate and cooling solutions, with fan coils among its product offerings. Finland has been the company’s primary target market. Recent major projects include Tampere University hospital (TAYS), HTC Business Center in Turku, and the Marriott Hotel in Tallinn.
