Fire and smoke dampers
The NORDfire product group includes a large selection of fire and smoke dampers that prevent the spread of fire and flue gases in the building. Fire dampers are used as bushings in the ventilation system from different fire compartments, while smoke dampers are used to control smoke masses as part of the smoke extraction system.
Fire dampers have been tested in accordance with EN 1366-2 and have the CE mark in accordance with EN 15650. Smoke dampers have been tested in accordance with EN 1366-10 and have the CE mark in accordance with EN 12101-8.
NORDfire fire dampers are suitable for various buildings, including ATEX solutions for potentially explosive atmospheres. As a special order, we also manufacture fire dampers made of acid-proof steel and coated with an epoxy layer.
