KAPU Roof Fan for Smoke Extraction

KAPU rooffan is a CE-marked mechanical smoke extraction product designed for removingsmoke from roofs or decks. The product consists of a smoke extraction fan and aroof hatch. It is a factory-made, pre-assembled unit that is delivered on asingle pallet, ready for lifting into place. This enables fast and easyinstallation on site.

The KAPUhatch is well insulated, preventing unnecessary heat losses and eliminatingcondensation risks. All internal cabling is completed at the factory, so onlythe supply cables for the fan and hatch actuator need to be installed andconnected to the safety switches on site. The safety switches arefactory-mounted. Open/close status information is provided directly from theactuator, eliminating the need for separate limit switches.

The KAPUroof fan can also be used as a supply air fan or for temporary overheatingexhaust, but it is not intended for continuous ventilation. The unit can besupplied in a painted finish according to customer requirements; the standarddelivery is unpainted Aluzinc sheet metal.
