ALU/BUTYL is a self adhesive aluminium tape with stable dimensional properties, based on butyl rubber. The tape is manufactured from an adhesive elastic pressure sensitive compound and laminated aluminium foil with a polyethylene reinforcement layer. The adhesive layer is protected by a silicone treated brown release paper. Thanks to its outstanding adhesive strength, the non wetting ALU BUTYL sealing tape is suitable for reliable and long lasting sealing of joints, cracks, and overlaps in all areas of construction.
