Besides providing efficient cooling, displacement diffusers help save energy used for ventilation. Since the entire room does not need uniform ventilation, the focus can be on the levels where people are situated.

While they can be installed inside the ceiling and the walls, thus being entirely out of sight, the minimalistic, yet stylish design takes away any reason to shy away from using them as an integral element of the interior. Even the front panel can be colored to blend into the overall environment seamlessly.

While ETS NORD displacement diffusers are typically manufactured of galvanized steel, other materials can be chosen to best suit the purpose. For environments with a substantial risk of corrosion, such as industrial applications, displacement diffusers can be manufactured of Magnelis, a special zinc–magnesium–coated steel that withstands corrosion extremely well.

Previously used fabric filters have been replaced in the most recent versions for improved functionality and efficiency. The double-layer perforated front panel ensures uniform, silent, and draught-free air distribution. Being easily detachable, the front panel also enables convenient cleaning and access to the unit. And, as all visible holes and screws – as well as the damper – concealed by telescopic cover panels that are fully fit for purpose, the appearance is further enhanced. The covers complement the diffuser’s design, forming a seamless and cohesive entity.
