We hereby invite companies in our industry to join the Jokaiselle lapselle lounas -campaign
05.05.2020
The meal offered at school or in a kindergarten is the only warm meal many children will have during the day. When schools and kindergartens are closed, children may miss even that one meal. Venner is a social enterprise which seeks to fight the inequality of families with children and supports low-income families with food bags guiding them in the cooking of nutritious vegetarian food. Organised by Venner, the Jokaiselle lapselle lounas -campaign has already reached nearly four thousand families with children all over Finland.
The campaign provides low-income families with children with a Venner food bag and supports the families in the compilation of a varied diet that supports good fats and immunity.
The Venner bag includes raw materials and recipes for seven warm meals as well as a few snacks, a package of vitamin D, olive oil and fruit. Further, the Venner kitchen guides you through your cooking sessions and motivates you to cook together with others.
– Joining this campaign is very natural for us because responsibility is one of the values of ETS NORD. Enterprises should apportion well-being in an equal manner by assuming social responsibility. We also wish to encourage our partners and other construction companies to support the campaign in this exceptional situation which is particularly acute for low-income families with children. Children should be guaranteed equal access to healthy and high quality nutrition, says ETS NORD marketing manager Ida Lee.
