Gert Ladefoged was appointed as the Country Manager of ETS NORD Denmark
Gert Ladefoged was born on 9 March 1969 in Randers, Denmark. In 1986 he received his diploma from the Business School in Minneapolis being educated as a forwarding agent for the Italian shipping company. Gert has 27 years of HVAC experience as Country Manager of Lindab in Italy, Russia and Belgium. He has been a Member of the Board in Spiro being responsible for 32 countries worldwide. Starting from February 6th, he will be based in ETS NORD office in Hvidovre (near Copenhagen) and reporting to the Board Member Markku Mattila.
Gert started at Lindab Italy in 1990 as a Head of Administration and Logistics, and since 1995 was the CEO of the Italian branch. In 2005 he started to work for Spiro International (a manufacturer of machinery for the construction HVAC for ventilation) in Switzerland, and since 2007 was also a Sales Manager for Western Europe and North Africa. Gert launched the Spiro’s Moscow office in Russia and took the lead in 2010. In 2013 he moved permanently to Moscow with the new position of Country Manager of Russia and Eastern Europe for the Lindab Group and Spiro. In August 2015 he moved to Gent Belgium as Lindab’s Country Manager keeping the position of General Manager Russia till the end of May 2016.
Gert speaks Danish, English, German, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian, French, and Spanish. He is married to Valeria and has three children. His interests are mechanical engineering, motor sports, reading, spending time with his family and boxer dog. In 1988 he won the Formula-4s Powerboat World Championship, and in 1992 was the world champion in Formula 3, and in 1995 in F2.
